Leicester's last nine games under Pearson, P9 W7 D1 L1 Pnts 22. Pearson turned it round when relegation looked inevitable, Ranieri took over a winning team.

I agree Sinkov, Ranieri inherited a winning team with confidence and did little to change anything just dilly donged his way through the year. It fell apart once Kante left and they had to adjust their play and his lack of tactical nous came into focus. Once they started losing confidence dropped and couldn't restore it causing confusion with ever changing tactics. Shakespeare took them back in time and they picked up again.

there is nothing to suggest that Ostrich Head would have won the title- Claudio brought his own players in and turned that team into Champions- Look where they are under shakedpeare

Think he didn't buy anyone in the year they won the league but tinkered with existing players.

    He did buy in 2016
And this summer the majority of their new signings, apart from record £28million signing Islam Slimani, have struggled.

Nampalys Mendy has been out for most of the season with injury while £15million striker Ahmed Musa, defender Luis Hernandez and goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler have been underwhelming so far.
£7.5million signing Bartosz Kapustka is not ready to play in the Premier League

No a Pearson buy just 4 days before he was sacked on June 30.

On 26 June 2015, Okazaki moved to Premier League side Leicester City for a fee believed to be in the region of £7 million, subject to obtaining a work permit. He made his debut for the club on 8 August 2015 in Leicester City's 4–2 opening day win against Sunderland, and scored his first goal for the club the following week in a 2–1 win against West Ham

    Ranieri started July 15th

New Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri was acclaimed as “a big manager” after securing his first signings.

Centre-back Yohan Benalouane joins the Foxes from Italian side Atalanta and N'Golo Kante from French club Caen.
Kante certainly made a big difference!!

Seems you are right. They had bought a few others under Pearson that he had to blend into the team too such as Huth.
