Three months ago my wife and myself were holidaying in Spain when she complained of a headache, she then collapsed and so, with some friends we rushed her to hospital where she was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage. She was kept in hospital for two weeks and told she could not fly for another two weeks, this meant we missed our scheduled flight with Ryanair. The people we were holidaying with had to go home but at the airport they went to the Ryanair desk and told the girl on the desk what had happened. This girl could not have been more helpful, not only did we not have to pay for our flight when we re-booked, she asked did we needed a taxi from the hospital to the airport? Did we need a wheelchair? Someone to escort us and carry our cases?

When we got home I tried to contact Ryanair to tell them what this girl had done for us but could not find a suitable on-line address so she will go unrewarded but she certainly was a credit to Ryanair, A company that gets a lot of stick, but none from me now.
