Knowing our Constabulary's aversion to dealing with crowd trouble, I'm surprised they allowed the shoot-out to go ahead. Wouldn't it have been safer to advise everyone to go home and have the shoot-out behind closed doors ?

It might sound far fetched but will Lancashire Constabulary be allowed to actually impose crowd less behind closed door games in the "interests of safety"?

They almost managed to do it in the FA Youth Cup.

We have now reached the thick end of the wedge IMHO!
