The diggers take away part of the rubble, the police call for total silence...then they send the sniffer dogs in on a long leash

25 bodies found so far in the school......200 further deaths elsewhere.....I'm not sure how long someone can last if they are still alive in those collapsed buildings without water....2 or 3 days at most in that heat?

The guys and girls in the bright red tops are specialist cavers/potholers and it looks like they're going to lower them down into the voids from the building next door.....the sniffer dogs went in earlier so there are people/children still in there

Heartbreaking stuff. These reports are always hard to read but when young kids are involved for me it's even worse. A few days ago I was hit by the periphery of a hurricane, all those moaning about the 'hardship' we suffered had their eyes well and truly opened on the journey back to the airport seeing many local homes wrecked. Arseholes like Trump who deny climate change need sticking in the middle of one of these disasters - he would soon realise that his billions wouldn't count for much when he sees nature at it's most brutal.

Puerto Rico getting hit today might make him stick with the Paris accord.....but then again, his PetroBuddies might blame it all on "natural weather variations" despite 97% of scientists pointing out the sheer ferocity of recent events being man-made.
