    A couple of decades ago Spurs could easily have been relegated ending up playing against the likes of other second-tier outfits. They were fine as it turned out not least because one of their main rivals had a crucial game decided by a ref on the take. It's corruption in the game that ensured they stayed in the top flight rather than the second-tier playing against other second-rate outfits. Imagine it, Willard turning up at White Hart Lane determined to see the home side lose and making sure there would be no big North London derby the following year...I wonder how much money he'd want for that. Maybe he'd just cave in to the threats.

    Yes Gunt , would Willard have sent off Klinnsman , Ginola and Sol Campbell at that stage of the season at home to Liverpool , more chance of the mayor of london eating a bacon sandwich :-) :-)
