Truthhurts, - I like your logic, but the truth is, as you rightly suggest, - Adam owes us nothing.
I would like to think that maybe in a few years time he might consider some sort of investment in the town, - but that may be a long way off.
Wouldn't it be great if local hero Calvin Harris (Adam Wiles) were to invest some of his £70,000,000 personal fortune into his home town team in Dumfries. I know he owes nothing to Queens and is not even a football fan, but he is a home born Doonhamer and one of us.
I'm sure he mentions his Scottishness to his American colleagues and is proud of his past heritage. Perhaps if we all write to him asking him to consider helping with funding, he might donate to help build Queens new grandstand. I know he owes us nothing, but sometimes if an idea is planted the fruit sometimes grow.
How about a concert being held at Palmerston to raise the funds needed for the new stand? I'm sure he would do that for free. Has anyone who knows him ever put this question to him in the past?
The Calvin Harris Stadium would be a fine outcome!

Harris could be the next club Chairman and plough his fortune into getting Queens to the Scottish Premiership.
Investment is certainly needed and I know that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes in an effort to procure such. Yes, it would be great if Calvin could donate some of his 'pocket money' to Queens and it would be a gesture that would be much appreciated by supporters and townsfolk alike. Many celebrities have done this, Giggs, Scholes and Neville at Salford City for example, but with Calvin not having any/much interest in Football, never mind Queens, such an outcome is difficult to imagine, but who knows. Perhaps contact should be made. There are many in the town who know him well. So, a quite word is required in their direction.
The Calvin Harris Stadium is certainly a better sounding name than the Jags new moniker :- '' The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill ''
NOT GOING TO EVEN VENTURE THERE!
Not that Harris needs it, but can you imagine the publicity he would get from slipping Queens a nice cheque. One gig (I believe he gets well into six figures a time) would see the bulldozers move into Palmerston.
