    Unbelievable

Just been reading some post article comments on the Joselu report on the Chronic website. Some people writing off Joselu already.

    It was one game FFS!

He had a bad shooting game but all he did wrong was not get 2 of his shots on target (if the keeper saves and you donīt score, then that is another story). Some of his support play was first class - remember the back heel?

Heīs playing well and getting into goal scoring opportunities but has one poor shooting game and is written off. Itīs no surprise our players can feel pressure from the supporters - imagine if you were doing well at your job but being constantly criticised?

It's only a matter of time before things click for him.

All strikers have days or even several games where things don't go right but as with all strikers, if they have it in the locker they will bring it out.

Coupled to that he's a new lad wanting and trying to impress and be successful so possible a bit of eagerness has subscribed to his misses.

We as fans were spoiled by SuperMac's opening game and perhaps expect a bit too much too often.

He's getting in the right positions - which is much better than not.

I think against Stoke the occasion got to him more than he's suddenly gone ****. He desperately wanted to put one away against them to prove a point (which could be argued it made their selling point ) and then snatched at them. I don't think he'd miss those against another club personally - well not all of them.

    Hat-trick against Brighton?

Also, we can't really expect too much of him. He's a Ģ5 million striker with a slightly worse than 1 goal every 4 games ratio. Hopefully Rafa will get the best out of him and we've already seen lots of good stuff from him: his movement and positional awareness is good and he holds up play well.

I like him, he is a natural centre forward imo, just needs a bit of luck in front of goal AND SOME F>>>>>G SUPPORT!!!!!! Some of our "fans " really piss me off!!! Give the lad a chance man!!

i like him as a work horse but as a scorer he aint ot it

this is why i worry about us

we have had two good wins but with goals from an unlikely source ,or the rate of them

a win is a win i agree but we cant rely on lascelles to keep poping up

scoring goals from set pieces is a bonus but we need more from joselwho and othere from open play
