Marvellous Motherwell dismantle Dons to reach Betfred semi-final

Motherwell produced the performance of the season to brush aside Aberdeen and book a semi-final clash with Rangers. A two goal half-time lead flattered the visitors and the game was over when a Moult special hit the net. - External Link

Tonight's superb performance from team/manager aside ..... a thought or ten for the passing of Bert McCann ...a wonderful 'Well player and captain and one of my boyhood heroes .... 5-2 win at Castle Greyskull in 1961 (my first away game)......say no more! Speaking of which ...we need not fear Sevco. They were lucky to beat us earlier this season...with the usual referee assistance... bring them on.

Yes I remember Bert and the rest of the Ancel Babes. Someone posted they did not win anything but the football they delivered and the no fear of the opposition was a trademark of the side. Tonight's result clearly emphasizes that never say die run till you drop approach it's superb albeit I am limited to YouTube view , feel good factor is great .
