Apart from drawing at Swindon, today was Exeter's first real test against better than average opposition - and they failed it.

Agreed, as I said in the Match Ratings thread....we certainly stepped it up a gear after the Lincoln equaliser.....as the crowd were singing correctly...."just like watching Juve"

If we stick around the top 7 for the remainder of the season there's a reasonable chance we might see four 10k plus league crowds in one season for the first time since Mick Walker was manager! I'm thinking Stags, Cov and Luton (last game of the season).

Yeah it was. The sending off was no more than a yellow at worst, we were pish poor 1st half but certainly found our game 2nd half. They were a very physical side and we just didn't come to terms with it in the 1st half. 4-1 was no more than we deserved.

It's important that FGR are humiliated in front of a very large crowd. They are already bottom of the league. A Noble red card would be fitting.

Lincoln were the better side in the first 25 minutes.....2 glorious chances wasted plus a free header put over......the sending off was building, Yates fouled a couple of times previously ducks his head for a bouncing ball....boot full on the head, ouch...sending off

Notts pushed for a goal, scrappy as Stead was falling backwards trying to buy a penno, half-hits the ball that bounced into the net.....Notts need another one, Lincoln look half-decent
