Jeez...What have I let myself in for!!

I am off to bed now...I am in the French alpes with my two sons who are cycling nuts. Today they climbed one of the hardest accession in the sport..' the Col D'Izoard. Tomorrow they will be climbing the Col du Galibier which is 2600 metres high. I am only driving the support vehicle and at the end the day I am knackered!!

Since the Tour de France went through Yorkshire..(fantastic 3 days)..I know now that there is a tour of Yorkshire organised by the same society who organise the Tour de France. I must admit I don't know Yorkshire but what I did see on the TV during the Tour was enough to make me regret that I didn't visit the county when I lived in the UK

I have been away the last few days in Manchester and I come back to find we have a new Mod, but a good choice in Frenchie and thank you John for your help. I can see some of our old posters coming back with luck.

I tried to reason with LR to tone it down but instead I received a load of abuse myself, you don't abuse your fellow fans.

Since getting to chat a bit with you Claw on the other boards, I did hope to see it get busier & friendlier on here but it was being ruined by one person sadly, and that meant the board was virtually dead.
Im not sure what the 'protocol' is for asking for a new mod to be appointed, this is all new territory for me lol.
