Saints seem to have a cracking team this year and are leading the 3rd level of Scottish rugby quite convincingly. Does anyone know what sort of attendance they get at Park Farm? I wouldn't think that Queens would be losing fans to Saints just yet, but Scotland's top division is beckoning and that would attract decent interest and crowds to the toon.
Incidentally, does anyone know where they played in Summerhill when based there?
yep i was there to see there top of table clash with kirkaldy ,dumfries won and looked decent ,there defo looking like winning there league for a 3 promotions in a row ,attendances there range from 200 to about 5 to 600 atm ,free to watch them usually ,sometimes the program guy wants everyone to buy a program to get in tho lol .and you can stand and drink your pint while watching the game at the sidelines of the pitch decent likes .

Hey arrol1919 this wasn't an attempt to try at anything, it was a genuine question which Francis answered quite appropriately. Winning three promotions in a row surely must breed higher attendances and larger future crowds. I would imagine most posters on this board are also interested in Saints rapid elevation and quite frankly, good luck to them. Personally I'm not a rugby fan and don't really understand the scoring system and nether do I care to! However their current fan base is higher than I have known it in my lifetime and that is good for local interest. But it will always be Queens for me.
Saints current team are on the up due to a good quality batch of youths coming through at the same time having been coached at u16/Colts level by a south African coach playing a passing style and getting away from scottish kick and rush style which alot of the football teams could do with a manager to come in at youth level and change the style of the game
I dont think the saints ride will take fans away what it may do is take away a percentage of the floating fans
