Absolutely marvellous, Rod. Loved it. Fantastic advert for Championship football, and we actually did well on the big stage for once. This team is a wonderful thing to behold, and proof that team spirit can get you an awfully long way. That said, our players were good in the main, too. It wasn't just heart, it was skill, fitness, tactical nous and teamwork that got us the win. Huge congratulations to the whole team, including the management.
Brooksy's bit of skill that set up Clarke's second was sublime. Absolutely amazing stuff.
Only downside was that I terrified my daughter when the first went in and I jumped up, arms aloft, screaming 'YES!'
