And the best of it all is that I know one of the consortium members who Short was initially going to sell to. Serious players with serious money and plans and, included in their number, an internationally acclaimed businessman who would have transformed them (local sunlun fan, too, he is).

Problem was they wanted to invest in the club, not in Short, and the deal wasn't as good up front as the one Donald and his mates offered.

To think what they could have become.....then look at where they are now.
