A friend just sent me this
For the championship over the last 5 seasons, minimum points needed to stay up is 41 and the most needed was 52. It averages out 47 points needed and Sunderland have 9 from 13. On that current form their total amount is 32 points.
That would make me laugh a considerable amount if they only managed 32 points. To confirm, i think they'll get more than that but if they didn't

I've always thought they would do a double drop. It's getting a bit too far into the season to begin to pick up confidence which is what that squad have not got in immense quantities and they would need more than twice as many points now to even be top of the bottom half.Right then Mick,could you please explain your thinking.
