Talk about a panic buy after losing Maja. Apparently they offered 1.5 million for him and had to go cap in hand back to Wigan several times before meeting Wigan’s 4 million valuation.

The only thing i'd say on that, is hte guy in question is a "gwt out of league one" specialist. So can see why they've splashed that much.
Surprised Wigan allowed hte deal that late in the window though.

Will Grigg has played his whole career in league 1, barring one and a half seasons. The season we were in the championship ship, when Wigan were relegated and this season where he isnt good enough to get into the Wigan team.
If they get promoted, he will be little use to them next season...
Looks like they a preparing for a 2nd season on the wilderness.

Just thought that I would check out out the RTG.
I was shocked at their pathetic, childish attitude towards Almiron. There were only a handful of reasonable posters, "Irishmackem" and one or two others, who could actually say anything sensible. The rest of their so called input was in the main not that comprehensible and totally attacked Amiron for his looks and inability!!
I know we argue but they take it to another level, mainly subterranean, total lack of depth. If abuse and idiotic responses counted towards brain power they certainly would be in the top three bracket.
Not sure I want to sully myself again by visiting RTG.
