Oh! by the way if it was a rumour it would state otherwise but in this case it says reported not a rumour get your facts right.

Multiple sources? There is only one and thats the Scottish Sun which HITC are quoting. The clue to the fact that its an unsubstantiated (that means they dont actually know) is the quote "It is said Derby are interested" if they actually knew this for a fact then the report would say Derby are interested.
I did explain how the media report stuff and then put in phrases like it is said or it is reported which clearly shows they dont actually know, this is understood by most people but not apparently by you.
That internet site is full of gossip and rumour, very little of which is true, but if your happy to accept fake news and then post it and demonstrate your ignorance then feel free to carry on. As yet you have provided no evidence that what you have posted is true.
All of which just shows I'm not the one who hasn't got his facts right, which must mean somebody else is reporting rumour as news and that person has got their facts wrong and at the moment is looking rather silly.
If you had read the report you would have read "According to the Scottish Sun" and then the report goes on to say "It is said Derby scouts were at the game" In both cases there are the caveats "according to" and "it is said" from which it is clear that there is no real evidence that this is true, not sure why you keep arguing about this as there is no actual verifiable evidence that this is anything other than a typical newspaper report, repeated by an internet source notorious for false transfer stories.
The vast majority of these reports are by journos who have to supply a story and are not too bothered about the facts and most people understand that to be the case, its nothing more than a rumour unless you can supply evidence other than from a dodgy media source that Derby scouts were at the game and were scouting Williamson.
Bloody hell a page of squabbling over "reported as" v " Rumour" 10 mins of my life I will never get back, totally wasted.
The logical thing to do is just wait and see.
If it gathers momentum it is indeed a "Reported as", if not "Rumour" wins
£5 bet on which one do you reckon?
What he doesn’t get is they have been scouting and keeping tabs on Williamson since last season and they have been impressed by his recent form for Dunfermline that they might take up the option to buy him in January.
This is a wait and see signing that might turn into something good or nothing will come of it.
