    Next up - Partick Thistle

Motherwell will entertain Partick Thistle on Saturday knowing that a win will maintain a place in the top half of the table. Thistle will be hoping for a first league win of the season. - External Link

Play the game to our strengths and I've no doubt we will take the three points, but get involved in a physical game where high balls are they order of the day then we will probably only get a draw at best.COYW

I think Thistle are much better than their current position suggests and they've been unlucky in some tough games so far. It's obviously the sort of match we must be looking to win but I think it'll be a difficult 90 minutes ahead.

Saturday will tell us a fair bit I think. We need to bounce straight back after the defeat to the Dons.
