    Barcelona

We have a few days booked there next month. Seeing the Neu Camp empty for Barcas last game and the Spanish police actions make me wonder where this is all going. The Catalans want independence it seems, is civil war on the horizon. They seem peaceful but the actions of the police may have created a turning point.
One Catalan international isn't wanting to play for Spain.

It's not in my backyard OC, has no serious global ramifications so I ain't bothered.

Just hope they can clean the whole mess up before we go there in next season's Champions League!

Just goes to show the type of democracy the EU stands for, the civil police looked like a bunch of antifa nutters, with balaclavas and trying so hard to hide there identity for what should now be a big public backlash. The whole thing stinks imagine what would have happened if we had gone into Scotland like that.

By gum! You leavers have really got it bad.

Nothing to do with the EU - this is an internal Spanish/Catalonia thing.

There has been a lot of bile flying around (on both sides) since we voted for Brexit and plenty of conspiracy stories.

But let's keep it real, eh?

Strikes, gridlock, nou camp closed, just hope it calms down once politicians start up again.
Right now they are hiding on both sides.
Spanish police expelled from hotels by local owners.
