    Interesting draw for the fans and at just over 200 miles from Dumfries and with better roads should be quicker and easier to get to than Inverness (230 miles). Pleased that it is practically a home game for Jimmymerseybranch who moved to Ruthin Wales a couple of years ago.
    There are trains that run to Oswestry but pricey - Long drive via the awful M6 - Travel Club bus best option but will be limited on seats - The Shrewsbury branch of the Queens support will be happy

    Already booked train and hotel for Friday night in Shrewsbury.Wish they would hurry up and decide on the Saturday or Sunday to book a further night if neccessary.

    One tenuous connection between the Dumfries area and Oswestry is like Lockerbie it has an Arla cheese factory. Ex - Queens director
    Mark Robertson spent a lot of his career in the English town and travelling up and down from Dumfries !

    Re. the above a further search comes up with Dumfries to Gobowen single is £33 with the above trains.This may be preferable to those planning to stay overnight.As the prices are likely to rise soon.
