Thread: Noble and noballs Cooper

Grant and Yates have been awful the last two games but they have both done enough this season to prove that there will be two large gaps left in the notts squad should both be called back at any point, Noble could potentially be a very cheap (free agent) option to plug one of those gaps.

Correct me if I'm wrong, that although Noble has been released by FGR they will still hold his registration and so may be entitled to ask for financial recompense should he sign for another professional club.

You are wrong, he's over 24 so he's free to move to any club with no compensation. It doesn't surprise me that FGR waited to release him until after they had played us, I doubt it's a coincidence.

The only good thing I can say about Branston is, I enjoy his Pickle but maybe he is not involved in its manufacture, only leaving clubs he has been involved with in one.

Then again maybe not unless Mr Hardy has a long Gang Plank, as the Ship has sailed.

Ships can also return to port.

The ship sailed while he was still under contract with Forest Green and we would have still had to pay for him but signing him for nothing? We'd be mad to not even entertain the idea imo.
