Where's Colombo when you need him? The 2 carer's are very unfortunate people indeed as they seem guilty as hell in having something to do with her disappearance or they are starting to get bored with the lack of detective abilities within the police and are now throwing out a bit bait by claiming having seen her (now a gang master) in an attempt to get more attention from them.

Running the risk of coming over as Mr Superior. But my god these people are horrendous. Should be living in a shack half way up the Appalachian mountains. Carers Geezus ! Quite clearly incapable of looking after themselves. Obviously just got lucky as far as the forensics are concerned or more likely apathy on the part of the Police until it was too late.
