    Derby v Forest Predictions

Hate to admit it, but I think it's 3-1 to Derby

A lot will depend on the formation GR chooses. We changed to 1-4-4-2 2nd half at Cardif and had them under the cosh. Add to that the impression I have of the Red Dogs this season that they are comparatively weak at the back and stronger going forward, it would seem a good idea to stick with 1-4-4-2. If he does that, 2-0 Derby.

Starting line up? I would go with

    Carson
    Wisdom Keogh Davies Forsyth
    Lawrence Huddlestone Ledley Russell
    Martin Nugent

    You were almost there.
But result aside, both teams showed why they're stuck in midtable.

Although this win might just spur Derby on and upwards

I saw a few glimmers from Derby - the intelligent support play of Vydra, the dead ball expertise of Lawrence, just things that might make the team as a whole stand apart from the opposition.

Haven't we seen them before though? These glimmers that then get extinguished for a couple of games? Still most teams in this division this season seem capable of going from good to bad from game to game so there is hope.

yes consistency is elusive. But so is resilience, and that's only two let in in four unbeaten games, another glimmer.
