    Gini

Just saw a bit of the derby, he looks a completely different player from when he was with us. He's not a bad player, but a lot more boring. Hardly participated in anything going forward, just another Henderson passing the ball sideways and defending.

To me it looks like they're not utilizing his skills properly. Or maybe he's just not good enough.

I wasn´t impressed either - a lot of huffing and puffing but no definition. In his home performances for us he was more threatening and clinical.

He was anonymous, i didn't even realise he was playing till half-time.

Whether he looked better here because we had him attacking and he was surrounded by poorer players but he doesn't look like the player we had.

His role is not the same there as the one he had here, but then why even play him? There are many better CM's out there.

i agree he was poor that night and his form has been up and down since going to Liverpool. However i think in that game specifically he came up against a well organised, well drilled typical Mourinho side, people moan on about Mourinho parking the bus but i think Klopp also failed to take a risk in that game, Liverpool defintely held back although they were the more attacking side of sure i didnt sense that they were 100% commited to attacking, i think Mourinho was expecting them to come out all guns blazing hence his tactics to try and catch on the break but Liverpool didnt do that imo.
