Thread: Yay! The forum is busy again!

Yay! The forum is busy again!

Some boys on here so f_ing predictable! Almost seems they enjoy when we get beat. The guys on here gloating are the same ones that were missing after we beat Dunfermline.

All you guys that are saying RM should get the sack please dig out your comments when he got the job where you were saying not to go for him. Board was pretty unanimous about it being a good appointment.

We have a young manager and he is making mistakes. He set out the team wrong first half but second half the shape and balance was coming together. If Scotty McDonald put away the sitter then we would have went on to win that game as we were on top during that spell.

Livingstone deserved to win - they look a good team.

The way the first set of fixtures have come out have not been kind to us. Livi, St Mirren, Falkirk, ICT, Dunfermline all away from home. Next 9 games are more favourable. If we are not in positioned to win the league at Christmas then we perhaps need to start looking at the manager but for now it would be an expensive mistake. this is now RM's team (and in my opinion it is probably strong enough to win the league). Another manager would have no budget to change much and it would be too much of a gamble.

There are lot of guys on this forum that have their own agenda and you could almost sense the glee at yesterdays result from some of them!

Next 3 games are pretty huge. Lets get behind the club and encourage and support. FTD!!

Pretty much spot on tfit4, and I'll call out plumber as the worst culprit. Never posts when the team win, or god forbid they put in a half decent performance. In fact, think even if Thompson and McKinnon were to leave he would still have something to phukkin whinge about.

This shows how far we have fallen and what some fans expect when they go to watch a football match. A good team would have given us 10 yesterday. Some of their passing and shooting was horrific, just not as bad as ours.

its the performances even more so than the results that are alarming, I went to the game yesterday catiously optimistic after two decent results/performances, but said to my mate on the way up it would take 5-6 games at that standard to install any geniune confidence. After 45 woeful minutes that optimism had evaporated, and I dont think it would have returned even if we had scrapped/fluked a win.

Maybe if RM or ST did something good or constructive I'd comment positively but sadly the club and team continue to spiral downwards

People, in the main, use mediums like this and social media to moan.

That’s the way it is. Each to their own.

Football forums are a release valve for boiled piss.

    Spot on OP

Also laughably deluded thinking the likes of McIntyre would come in and make a difference, all that would happen would be he'd get cut slack early on in his reign then fans would be on his back, if we win this league it won't be by romping it, sorry but what experience does he have of managing a club like United (or an Aberdeen,Hearts,Hibs) with big expectations and pressure ? none.

IF we were to change manager ( it's not at that stage just now) it would need to be someone who has a track record of coping with a job like ours or the club's mentioned above where fans will be right on the back asap, and guys who fall into that category are the like of Levein and Houston (a very very good Utd manager who also got unfair abuse from the poisonous section of our support with short memories)

Not guys who have had no success at a bigger Scottish club (that means not a yogi hughes who failed at Hibs etc), not guys who do it at wee clubs with no pressure as we can't afford a cycle of this hence it's better to stick right now

We have a good enough (excellent) home record under Ray that suggests if we can get a little bit of consistency away from home we'll be there or thereabouts in May, Inverness at home, Dumbarton away then St Mirren at home in the next three, if we win a couple of those this place will fall silent again like the last month
