Russell worked his socks off today put in a really good performance and got stuck in and made some good opportunities and now he needs to turn that effort into helping him create some goals because it’s been a while since he bagged one for himself.

Attacking wide midfielders are meant to attack not defend a defensive midfielder yes! but not an attacking midfielder.

You have your attacking players play a defensive role you basically have no drive and sit back and pass the ball around all day long doing sideways passing giving it back to the defenders and hoping one of your teammates creates a chance on goal and making the whole team work extra effort then they need to when they want to drive forward but Rowett has got them on defence when they should play in their role that they should be doing.

Simply put, it's just like your need for punctuation.

We all know rowett wants us to be a more solid unit and hard to beat .defending as a team and breaking quicky. This isn't always going to sit well with fans who want to dominate possession and think derby have a right to win games playing attractive football

Not every game you are going to have top possession of the ball we found that out against Brentford but we managed to find a goal but unfortunately we conceded with 9 minutes to go and paid the price in the end with Brentford using their clear cut chances they had with their possession and nicked a draw and earned a point.

All down to decision making and how use it and making sure you take your chances to the best of your ability and grind out the results your performances deserves to be rewarded.

We were too slow in the midfield area by far. Florest dominated because they moved and were the better passing team. Vydra made both goals, one for himself and another sublime ball for Nugent to slot home. Need to step it up a gear or two but there are signs that w could be a decent team, once everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet.

If Rowett is having to work with what they give him hes a pretty good job imo. Because this band of misfits have failed MISERABLEY with 3 other managers. We are pretty dull atm though, but if that keeps us mid table and affords rowett the time to get things in order then im happy.

Lawrence needs a more central role imo, but cant see it happening yet.

You're lucky because Forest are ****e at defending.
A backline of my grandma, mum and aunts would probably do better.

No use getting forward with a makeshift defense. Yup Warburton's defense has always been makeshift..

Makes too many changes and shifts them around.

Be in the top half at Christmas and sort the squad out in January we can have a really good go at trying to achieve promotion to the PL.

Keep our consistency up and grind out good results starting against Sheffield Wednesday we should be in a good position to achieve something great at this club.

Here we go again, sort the squad out, what spend that £17m you think we have from the Hughes and Ince sale, we don't have it, we sailed to close to FFP wind, we couldn't get rid of enough if any players in the summer to make any impression, what makes you think we'll do it in January? Rowett won't be given a blank cheque book like previous managers were, I wish he were but it ain't happening now, he knows it and most fans know it bar you, we lived or tried to the good life, we threw money at it and it didn't work, not to say it's wrong to do that but its a risk that at the time the powers that be thought was worth taking, now's the time to be prudent, its a bit like forests situation at the moment, finished midtable with a few good performances and rebuild slowly over the next 2/3 or 4 transfer windows
