FFS, is that it. All these Socialist paradises where people are flocking to emigrate to and go and live. 8.4% of Vietnam live below the poverty line, the GDP of Vietnam is just over US$2000 per person so the poverty line must be ankle high. China discovered Communism isn't working (like the Labour posters from the eighties) and embraced capitalism. Cubans have been trying to escape to America for decades. Strange how people flee a Socialist State to try and get to the biggest capitalist State on Earth, tells you something. And Lao, that is what the UK would look like if you mad lot got any power. Labour, the joke that keeps on giving.

A more intriguing question BT is why 21,881 of the good folk of Sheffield voted for Labour's Jared O'Mara, a creature more vile than anything the Tories could come up with. They're quite tolerant of wrong uns and ante-semites in the Labour Party, but it looks like even they might be shamed into doing something about this moron.

Or possibly the more pertinent question is how the obnoxious O'Mara came to be acceptable as a Labour candidate in the first place ?

I think it shows just how useless Nick Clegg was.

I have had the great displeasure of meeting O'Mara, I share your opinion of him sinkov and asked the pertinent question of how he came to be acceptable as a Labour candidate in the first place?

The answer was, we just needed to field any old muppet of a candidate and he would beat Clegg. We did and he did!

I must be honest BT, if I'd lived in Hallam I might have voted for him as well, if it meant getting rid of Cleggy.

Your lot seriously need to sort out their selection procedure though, I've never a problem with them selecting hard left candidates, what I would call the loony left, that's fair enough, they're a left wing party after all, but how this tw@t slipped through the net takes some explaining.

    SLIPPED THROUGH THE NET???

I have been involved in politics for a good few years now and the current Labour lot are a disgrace.

They are arrogant, vindictive (especially to non-Corbyn Labour members, who are their REAL enemy) and they live in their own Stalinist fantasy world. They hate successful businesses and anyone who has a few bob.

Six years ago they would have been members of the SWP or the Communists but they are now running the Labour party and slowly purging it of any dissidents.

I believe that they will win the next election and the country will suffer badly. The lunatics have taken over the asylum.
