Prediction League - Preston North End

Wolves welcome surprise 5th place club Preston North End to Molineux this upcoming weekend. Most would expect the historic club to be near the bottom of the table and trying to stay in the league. However, I had forgotten that they've finished 11th in back to back seasons since rejoining the second tier. The reason for their current place in the table is the defending. They've only conceded 8 goals, best in the league (two fewer than the next best defending record). They're not a great scoring squad, with the 8th fewest goals scored in the league. But you only need to score 1 goal a game if your opponents are not scoring. I imagine that we will see a tough, grind it out match this weekend. Jordan Hugill, who was the topic of many transfer rumors over the summer, is their leading goal scorer with 4 in league play. Sean Maguire has 3 and there are a handful of players with 2. They don't have a talisman that will beat us on our own, so as long as we play sound defense, I don't see us losing this match. I don't think we'll run up and down the pitch with them as their defensive record has been good all season (though half of those 8 goals conceded have come in the last two matches, two 2-2 draws against Sunderland and Fulham).

really tough match for us however we have only lost 1 game all season and while we don't give too much away at the back we are a very forward thinking side with Alex Neill setting the side out to gain 3 points every game. In the first half at Craven Cottage we were all over their midfield and they didn't like it and we went in 2-0 up. Only a couple of key injuries forcing us into early subs meaning several players ran out of steam the last 15 after putting in a shift which is a real shame and them scoring in the 96 minute (heartbreaker).
Good luck for the season and would love it if we were both top 6 and your certainly having a crackin season thus far.

I'm not too sure whether he gets involved in the baggies prediction scores on their board.

He's more interested with all things Wolves by the looks.
