Sean doesn’t usually leak information but if true I don’t blame him for wanting to talk as that can only improve his negotiating with Burnley to stay, but I suspect the personal benefit of being able to live with his family an hour away is a very significant factor in his thinking.
He will have to weigh that up with the prospect of maybe only being there for 4 months and of leaving a job half finished here and whatever we finally offer him to stay. Should we match the £2M for starters?

We are a very well run club now.

If Sean leaves then I am sure that we have a good replacement lined up. Although timing may be an issue.

Let's hope it's just paper talk.

Why don't they get Vardy to manage them,he can manage little else these days.

SD's stock is rising at present, the media love him, other teams covet him.

If £2 million is the salary offered, "Houston, we have a problem!"

Stop krapppppin yourselves- he aint going to Leicester- if he does, he will take the whole back room staff with them and leave us up the creek. He has too much integrity to do that.

it's a worry, Leicester is one of the very few clubs who might be interested in him and who have the cash to tempt him away. Add in the fact that it's closer to home for him and he's got to be seriously interested. On the other hand, he's the King of all he surveys at Burnley, at Leicester, well he knows what's happened to Ranieri and Shakespeare, he'll only ever be half a dozen bad results away from the sack. Up to him really.

Can we get Owen Coyle to send him a card and post Burnley CV?

I hope the directors learned from Coyle and have some clause preventing other staff being poached simultaneously. Maybe Woan would fancy a chance

Sean and Chris Coleman are the current favourites for the job.
