I am sticking with my predictions after the Oldham game. I thought we would get 4 points from the 2 home games, I went for 1-1 the other night, I will go 2-1 Rovers for tomorrow.
I'm going to be missing this one, but I am going Wigan. Does anyone know if we have got more than our intital 1,800 tickets for this?

Are you going to the Man. City game, Alf. This has to be Dyche's biggest test. I doubt if you can hold them out, given their recent form, but a narrow defeat would probably boost SD's reputation still further.
Would a move to Leicester actually be a step up? Apart from that one stellar season, is it really a "bigger" club. I suppose the wealth of the owners might be the difference, but I should have thought a big-six position might be worth hanging on for, from his point-of-view.

No,I don't go on anymore Aucks, too busy travelling the country.. If they score early on it could be five or six ,but if we can hold out till half time it could be even more interesting..my predo Citeh 4 Clarets 0

I don't think Dyche will go to Leicester, but he will eventually move on to some bigger club than Leicester. He's the flavour of the month and is mentioned by all the press whenever a manager is sacked..

    Sounds like a good performance.
It might only be coincidence, but Downing's presence does seem to make a difference. And - let's be honest: most of us thought he was only a stop-gap for the injuries. I assumed he would hardly ever play!

I'm happy to say I was wrong wrong wrong!! I thought we'd win, but it was the best performance of the season. The toughest thing was picking a MOM.
Auks, I was tough on Conway, Bennett, Graham etc. Bennett was excellent, you said last week he's been decent for us and I said he was just very average. I think I was being very harsh. He is a good pro, and played well on Sat. He had a hand in 2 goals. Dack showed the form I expected from him, after spending a fair amount on him. He took his go really well. Chapman started a game!! While it was his quietest performance (ironicaly) he still caused them problems. He makes them think, and that free's up other attackers. He is better off starting and bringing on Conway, who took his goal very well. But looked lovely when he came on. Granham was superb. my MOM. His goal was class. But his hold up play, his touch, his closing down were all brilliant. He and Dack looked very dangerous. Nyambe was great, I quite like Caddis, but Nyambe is just quicker. He gets up the line better. Caddis is good, but doesn't get forward. Downing has played 4 games, we have won all 4 and not conceded a goal. I don't think that's a coincidence. Whittingham was decent. Smallwood wasn't the best, but he does the ugly stuff well. I believe you need someone like that at this level. It lets the likes of Whittingham to do what he needs to do.
It was the best performance I've seen this season. It all seemed to come together. He found a system, and we went for it. The only downside was Samuel. He didn't need to do it, and was beyond stupid!! He now misses
games, crucial ones!! TM said he is going to fine him, rightly so. At least Graham seemed to have got back to form.
Big game at Wigan now. If we win our 2 games in hand and beat them, we are only 2 points behind. We are sat in the play-offs without ever playing well this season for more than a few games.

But can we expect consistency? It's the lack of that which has plagued us over the last five or six years.
A point at Wigan would be brilliant. I just hope we play well and perhaps get a bit of luck.

I do acho the thoughts of aucks playing well against pompey will mean nothing if we play Wigan poorly
This team are looking like title favourites and we will only beat them if we emulate the Portsmouth performance.
