    Angry We all hate Leeds...

    Getting your head kicked in for wearing your team's scarf seems a tad extreme...

    A throwback to the seventies,when you had to remove your scarf at some grounds or face getting your head kicked in and scarf nicked.. Been there seen it ..

    No excuse for this. I was punched without provocation by a Liverpool fan in 1975 just for wearing a Burnley scarf. This took place in Burnley!

    Yep Outwood,the sixties/ seventies weren't the best of times in football ..Hooliganism was rife.. Very scary times indeed following your club away from home and like you say at home as well..I could write a book on the hooliganism I've witnessed in those days.. You had to have your wits about you and know what decision to take when approached by other fans ..I've had the odd kicking during my travels watching the Clarets..
