    England U17's

Beat Brazil 3-1 in semi finals World Cup,, hatrick from Brewster(Liverpool), Foden (Man C) looks a good player and won't be surprised to see them two do well for themselves

Either Spain or Mali in final.

Then at NYS for a friendly against Germany 14th Nov, tickets on sale in family stands now

Just checked and Spain are winning 2-0 10 mins into 2nd half

Anyone searched 'gob sh it es' (all one word) in google maps?

Played well didn't they, unfortunately for most they won't get a real chance to play for their parent clubs due to the lack of rules re squad places/English players in the prem league, shameful, but that aside, it's good to see the talent is there for a short while at least...

The under 20's won their World Cup final earlier this year.

The under 17's have got to their World Cup final and who know's, could also win.

So where does it all go wrong?

Why doesn't this transfer to the "senior" level?

Cultivate a good squad with a winning mentality at a young age and develope them into a top class international team.

Germany have done it. Spain have done it.

However, this is England (apologies to Shane Meadows!!) and the self proclaimed Premier League & Sky combination will soon put that idea to rest.

True, but the odds are stacked against them, they'll get farmed out to champs clubs where they'll stagnate, in my opinion.

Few will make it from that age. Fabregas is only U17s Golden Boot winner in last 10 competitions anyone will have heard of.

Yes well done to the England lads, and we took Spain apart in the Final 5-2. And despite us going 0-2 behind in the first half as well.
We won the U20s won the WC as well this year and the Euro's, and it means something for me to be able to say we/England have won the footy Wolrd cup TWICE and the Euro's all in the same year, even though its at a younger level.
The question remains though, what will happen to these kids in the next 5 years for example, will the Premship & the Champship clubs give them a chance or will they keep buying expensive unknown jonny foreigners etc. ?.

Brilliant for the youngsters but we know it's a massive step up even to championship level as Izzy Brown openly confessed to us bless him.
