I too am frustrated at the time this is taking but if we cast our minds back, the McNamara situation was the same. He was handed a letter at St Johnstone but it wasn’t until the Monday afternoon that it was made official.

Agree with the poster who said it has to be done right and that doing that now stops any future court battles (like Hartley and DFC).

the dee is spot on. thomson is a disgrace. he will appoint hughes the pound shop option, we wont get promoted. the fans should have voted with their wallets when we went down and not bought season tickets. he would have had no choice but to sell for less or walk away.

This is not a shambles, there will be good valid reasons why there has been no announcement - such things take time and need to be done professionally.

Also, ST has been very loyal and patient with Ray, but it has reached the stage where a new manager would be for the good of the club.

There are no quick fixes, Rangers , St Mirren , Hearts and until recently Aberdeen all went through various managers with no success.

Whoever gets the job it will be a gamble, but thats the nature of football.

If you **** these things up you end up in the courts like Hartley and Dundee.

Sometimes it takes times and if solicitors involved that always slows it up.

Never ended up in court. Agreement was met and he was paid in full. Do you think you guys will pay Ray in full anytime soon ?

What you mean is, he was paid the 'Agreed' amount in full. Not the full value of his remaining contract.
