We all understand this GB but will it save the club cash by no simply saying he's no longer manager? Also i can only imagine that ST never made his mind up that change was coming at 4.45 saturday! He knew the pros n cons b4 kick aff , probably even had a short list oh managers the night b4 so what is all the dillon ind dally in about. (See what i did there)😳😳

ST looking for the garden leave option paying monthly till end of his contract maybe?

Ray looking for release and dosh so he can take one of the many job offers waiting on him?

More likely ST checking all his coat pockets at home to find enough coins to pay him off .....or hoping for some luck in the lottery midweek?

    Exactly.

Remember how long it took to get Ray on board I'm the first place. He's not gonna happily accept some bull**** pay off. I don't see why everyone is getting so upset at the fact it's not yet in The Sun or The Record. It'll happen ffs.

Ray was on a good, steady number at Raith and if ST hadn't interfered, he might still be there, collecting a lower wage, but a bit more security. In a sense ST put paid to that, obviously hoping for better things for Ray and United. Now that Ray has been brought crashing to the ground, he has to try and salvage what financial deal he can from United. After all, he will be remembered, at least in the short term, for his 'success' at United, rather than what he achieved at Raith. He could be on the dole for quite a while unless he wants to move to Largs?

Confirmed today that Utd are locked in talks with Ray's lawyers and until an agreement has been reached, no announcement will be made. Ray was told on Saturday he was being removed from his position as manager. Laurie Ellis to take training in the meantime. Now, can we all calm the **** down.

Dundee United and Ray McKinnon have mutually agreed the manager’s departure with immediate effect.
