Well if the worst possible appointment is Stubbs then in your opinion Hughes would be the better option surely?.

If Stubbs gets united job I'm giving up following united and giving up football. I'd prefer dick Campbell

depends what sort of manager we would be wanting. one of the biggest criticisms of Ray was that the football was shocking to watch. so if the board want us to play good football, from people who have been mentioned i reckon stubbs would be high up there.

stubbs does strike me as another jackie/Ray. dont think it would be the worst appointment but i would prefer others.

You know this, if we were to get Jose with Sir Alex as director of football most of you chunts would still be phukn moaning. I fear the forum furore no matter who is appointed. The patience & rationale of 'supporters' is getting worse I'm afraid. An ugly baying mob.

to be honest there are guys who talk alot of sense on these forums with a small minority being overly negative imo. guys say they are only being realistic which is fair enough but surely dont need to be that negative all the time haha

spoke to an old mate in the town about the united job. i rattled through all the names been mentioned he said no to all them saying they were all s*** so asked him who he wanted and he went john collins!?!?! dont know what planet he was on tbh haha

tbh that would be a shocking appointment, what has sir alex done in last 4 years? nothing! hes past it!. jose as manager? he only parks the bus. Dundee United are too big of a jump for him. dont want!! get MIXU back!

think we all know we just have to get it right. Angood point made though some managers fit a club and situation well.

    Hope we find that chemistry!

Agree smedum. Some seem to think United should contact them to either ask them their approval or offer them the job.
