England reach the final with a thrilling 20-18 win over Tonga..What an unbelievable last five minutes after England had been 20-0 up and nearly threw it away..Thank god the ref didn't go to the video ref to check that last play or we might have lost..Roll on the Aussies next Saturday...

That was a cracking game to watch in a great atmosphere. England had played so well, particularly in defence, and seemed to be coasting to a place in the final until...... wow--what a come back from the Tongans who came so close.
Interesting that opinions were divided on the final move which the ref deemed to be a knock on, even after watching the slow motion video replay it was still open to conjecture.

alf-- the ref is ALWAYS right, what ever sport you are playing! Yes, they do make mistakes, however, they give what they see and that is good enough for me.
I also thought that the referee was correct in thsi case and had a ery good game all round.

England were like rabbits in the headlights for the last 5 minutes, just awful. Can't see us getting anywhere near the Aussies next week.

Well whatever happens eh lads, at least this time we/England wont be collapsing against the Haka loving Kiwis again in the Qtr or Semi Final like we normally do lol.
Ok the pressure is going to be on the Ozzers here, they beat us in the opening game of the tournament but they didnt thrash us did they!.
Lets hope our lads can play to their strengths a bit more against them this time and not let the occasion get to us etc. Fingers crossed eh!
