On Question Time tonight with his 'put you down accent' and his six sprogs, of whom he proudly boasts 'I've never changed a nappy'.
I wonder if they will quiz him about his belief that no woman should get an abortion, even if she's been raped.
He is the epitome of privilege, having inherited so much from daddy.
But he's a nice chap to boot. Bright, intelligent and could be May's successor as long as the Tories are happy to hand over policy control to the Catholic Church.

I felt like taking your bait this evening Sidney as I feel there are one or two definitive questions that you could answer for me if you don't mind - just your own honest beliefs not some obscure quotation you may have read.
What is wrong with his "Never changed a nappy" statement? He may employ a Nanny to do that job OR he could be speaking metaphorically insomuch his wife usually tends to such tasks.
Personally I think his views on abortion (if meant in the context most believe his views are) are wrong but alternatively I haven't heard much as a squeak out of you concerning some of McDonnell's rabid remarks recently.
Sidney ........... there are many many people the world over that inherit privileges and wealth and there always will be. Are you envious or just plain jealous? It certainly doesn't bother me if a chap speaks the Queen's English and is loaded. Some of them are complete Hooray Henry's and come from BOTH sides of the political spectrum - would you say that's a fair statement? However, irrespective of a person's political beliefs all I want to see in any person is a respect for the law of the land and a respect for his fellow men. Again there are both men and women of all sides that could be accused of not following this path and I would be the first to admit that in the past I have not played the white man . OOooops there we go........ I await the comments from the PC wailers! The honest truth is I have built up a good few friends over the years through cricket and expressions like this (and others) are bandied around by both coloured and white lads without the slightest offence being taken. To the PC prats on this board - there never was a problem amongst ordinary working blokes.
Back to the main topic being discussed. I am a christian confirmed into the C of E but not a practising one by attending church regularly. Seriously Sidney, your remarks about Rees-Mogg's religious beliefs are either ridiculous or just tongue in cheek. Are you dripping poison with your remarks? No I would say, but sometimes you have the ability to get under peoples skin so much that they tend to reply in real anger.
Finally I didn't know Jacob was appearing tonight so thanks for reminding me. A final question ........... You may well have been indoctrinated into Socialism in your earlier years and you and a few more on here are entitled to your views. However I really believe by the very title of this thread (Jacob Real-Smugg) you show your real true colours - i.e. a person with an inborn hatred of people with a privileged background and upbringing. Why ????????? .......... it's the way England is .... and I'm glad to be a little part of it.

There's no irony, I'm not debating with him, just stating an opinion.
I have a look on here most days, we're second top,I like football and love Notts. I come on here for varied and interesting views on it and yet first post up is one man's conceited view of a politician whose name he refuses to use.
It is a conceit, it's not an open debate it's a single poster who repeatedly feels the urge to tell us his opinion.
These continual threads are killing this board, it's shrinking down to half a dozen posters who can be bothered to raise themselves to go round in circles, opinions entrenched, more heat than light. This isn't my opinion but a view I've heard from people who've given up even viewing this site.
Still, carry on, I look forwards to the informed and nuanced debate on abortion and the rights of women set against the rights of unborn babies. The merits or otherwise of libertarian Conservatism and the arbitrary cut off point of twenty four weeks which is legal, twenty five and its infanticide.
Could be a five page thriller.
