Whilst I agree that WBA will probably not come for DM in favour of a bigger name, it is not outwith the realms of possibility that he could get a job down there and manage in the EPL.

Nae chance. If he beats celtic to the title which will never ever (x100000000000) happen then maybe theres a slight off chance. As you said its about big names and spunking heaps down there. A Scottish manager with a league cup to his name, a history of tactical tombola brain farts and a poor record in big games does not stand a f@cking hope in hell of getting a gig in the guffball tw@t race

I doubt that he'll get the WBA job but its coming up to the time in the season when a lot of mangers get the sack.

There will be a few vacancies in the guff Championship over the next few months.

I’m not saying they’ve not got money worries, that’s probably why they’re taking their time. If I was spunking the best part of a mill for a manager, I’d want a wee bit more value than McInnes

It’s only really Aberdeen fans that blow smoke up his @rse & that’s only because they people that had the job before him were ridiculously shyte.

I think he’s at a very dodgy stage in his career. Possibly even left it too late to leave us. If he was as smart as everyone makes out, he would’ve walked when McGinn & Hayes left

He’ll be looking to jump ship & quickly. Personally, I think he’s f*cked it. We’re stuck with him
I think £1m for Derek is about the going rate for a manager like him. He has cemented us as the 2nd best team in Scotland and a fee of that size is realistic. You also say its only Aberdeen fans that blow smoke up him, but to be fair he is widely respected in Scotland, by managers, players and fans. Even Sevco fans think he is good enough for them.

I agree though that he is at a dodgy stage and maybe should have jumped when Sunderland came calling. I personally dont want him to leave, but for his own benefit that may have been the time. It was just the wrong club that came knocking and another Championship team i think he would have left.

We are still in 2nd place and in the SC, so its not f*cked yet. Still a very long way to go this season.

Whilst I'm happy to pick at his faults, some of the usual journeymen that get banded about down there is mental. Big fat Sam who likes getting paid off...Pardew who is a narcissist...the list is endless.

If McInnes had won the Scottish Cup you and Mason would still be on here every day moaning about him.

    I can't answer for Mason but I'd be cock-a-hoop.

Lets be honest mason you would still moan about him even if he did win the Scottish Cup.

So whats the story if we do win the Scottish cup?

The regular posters on here having been talking about looking to improve and that finishing 2nd is the bare minimum expected these days,so if we win the Scottish cup do we then look to improve by winning the league or just turn all the lights off?
