This process of recruitment has been far from ideal. Didn’t seem to know who we wanted and cast around
Why hasn’t it been ideal? The club played its cards very close to their chest and at no time stated who they were interested in and how long it would take.

The press as usual were guessing on who United might appoint.

Agree with all of that and it looks like he's the man....

Middle Eastern Sanitary Technician is flushed with joy. Speaking for myself, I could hardly be happier, even if I was relieving myself against a brand new urinal!

The best appointment out of the realistic candidates, no doubt.
Would have chosen him before Wright because he has experienced relative success at a bigger club than us.
Like others I hope Ellis stays on as he's done a great job filling in.

Excellent, adds a bit of interest to Saturday's match too I'd say! He may want to see some players in action or try some things out before the Falkirk match.

Yeah, I was thinking that. Until yesterday I assumed it would be the usual second string on Saturday but Shabba might want to see the first team in action and get them playing how we wants them to.

Happy with this. Hopefully the start of being on the right track. Plus it means there's not going to be endless debate about the other candidates being right or wrong and dividing the fans.
I think a foreign coach is just what we need and one with knowledge of the Scottish game is a bonus.
    Welcome Shabba and good luck.
