    Curran

Where does he normally operate for the reserves?

Thought he was decent when running at players but defending ranged from sloppy to non existent.

Looked unsure of how to play in that position.

To be fair, a majority of the starting outfield played pretty ropey last night.

He looks great going forward, I'd say attack wise better than Cammy, defence wise not as good as Cammy. looks more a winger than a wing back

The Motherwell boy on the left was getting total freedom to run at our defence last night

Normally a right sided midfielder but has been playing at right back/wing back in recent under 20 games to try to find a new position for him and possibly cover for Cammy.
Talented player but he is NEVER a defender. Horribly exposed last night when he was asked to cover the right back spot but played much better in second half when Waddell came on and allowed him to stay further forward.

    Cheers.

Sit in the Derry so obviously saw a bit more of him 1st half.

Could not believe how far off the wide well guy he was. 5 or 6 yards away every time.

Canny Kerr a much more in your face aggressive defender and I like the wing backs to be able to defend first and foremost.

Curran had two or three decent runs though and his forti does seem to be decent close control running at defenders.

Hes had a couple of decent games for us but wont be in the long term plans
Same with Spence, youll get a couple of decent games out of them but miles off the standard were looking for
Theyll end up playing down the Championship if theyre lucky

Agree about Spence. No where near the mark.
