Is it possible to stop supporting a team?

In a sense. No. But then again. Yes sort of.

I have supported Dundee United since I was 5. My dads a rangers fan. I’m from shetland. And held no alligence to anyone. But I chose Dundee United. Through thick and thin I have supported them. I don’t get to games. But have always been passionate about the clubs progress and fortunes.

But. In the last 3 years I have found myself becoming less and less interested. To a point now. That I feel like I don’t really care. But I do care. What we have endured over the past few seasons is poor. It’s depressing. I thought we had potentially got it right with ray. But nope. Another poor managerial decision. And I can’t help but feel that we are heading exactly the same way again.

No announcement yet. But the bookies favorites and the names being banded are just more of the same. The merry go round of sub standard Scottish football

When’s it going to be that something inspired happens? For someone to come and change The whole demeanor ofnthe club and the football club that we all collectively love and care about.

Who’s going to reignite the passion within this pretty stagnated support

Sadly. I can’t see it being any of the names
Mentioned and sadly I think regardless of where we finished his season. We’re a while away from getting close to excited about our fortunes.

I guess some folk can, some can't. Personally, no I can't imaging it.

When Stephen Thompson sells the club for 1p - then our club will rise again.

No problem with ST getting something back for his families investment, he must go now though, it's clear to everyone he is the malaise at the centre that's holding the club back

However the Eddie quote re changing your club doesn't need repeating,

When we've got something to brag about then we can discuss other clubs, until then I sorely hope we do our talking on the park

This is a decent squad, just hope the next manager can get the best out of them

Even better come home Stevie Campbell
