    Motherwell FC Shares for Sale

    The Well Society has announced a sale of shares in the club in order to boost funds. The Society will remain as majority shareholder. - External Link

    They have a huge majority of the shares but there are lots of folk who have small amounts. This share sale give fans a chance to own some shares - many will see it as a sentimental purchase, some will buy for others as a gift. Santa may buy a few too!

    The society will remain the majority shareholder. And all the money will be eligible for the Double you Money scheme that Les Hutchison is funding.

    A chance for the club to build some reserves.

    There are no doubt some hypotheticals which make this a bad idea but in the real world I don't see what harm can be done really and it's a good way to pick up cash.
