In all honesty does it change your viewing pleasure on a satdi, knowing how much is in the clubs bank account? Does it affect whether or not you make that yes/no decision when renewing your season ticket?

Does it stop Hecky picking 11 men on a satdi?

Does it stop you sleeping at night, worrying how much Hammill is getting paid?

All businesses need to be transparent when they are dealing with millions of pounds .

It can lead to speculation if they don't and sometimes lands people in court on fraud charges .

Legally they aren't doing anything wrong agreed , the real issue is why they don't reveal them and as you say they should all have to with the amount of money passing through clubs these days .

I can see why the club have these undisclosed amounts though. It can help. If it becomes common knowledge you paid £2 million for example, a right back. Then other clubs see how much your spending and up the anti themselves.

The game as a whole is full of shady deals , back handers and what have you as we've seen on various documentaries .

There doesn't appear to be too much motivation to clean it up , look at FIFA , Allardyce etc etc .

The game needs to be clean or its credibility suffers .

It's not much to ask to publish your accounts in my opinion .
