For what it's worth, on Betfair, although Dyche is still favourite and has had much more punted on him than Allardyce, the money for Sean has virtually dried up, all the bigger bets, 3 figures plus, in the last couple of days have been for Allardyce. Just thought I'd mention it.

For those that think the betting is significant, Allardyce is now odds on with most bookies.

Allardyce would be a sensible choice for them right now imho.

I agree, just the man for that job, he'll get them back up the league and no mistake.

Daily Mail story suggests Everton have broken PL rules as Arsenal owner may have also invested in them.

Last year Iranian businessman Farhad Moshiri sold his 15 per cent stake in Arsenal FC to oligarch Alisher Usmanov and used the money to buy a 50 per cent stake in the Merseyside club.
But secret documents leaked to the press suggest his original stake in Arsenal was funded by a 'gift' from Mr Usmanov raising concerns that it is the Russian's money that is now in Everton.

Not a good time to go there I suggest.

    BBC panorama programme on it
Premier League rules state an individual who owns a stake of 10% or more in one club cannot hold a single share in another, to avoid any conflict of interest, including in games between the clubs and in transfers.

Officially Mr Usmanov and Mr Moshiri, the oligarch's former accountant, bought a 14.58% stake in Arsenal together in 2007 through an offshore company called Red and White Holdings.
But the documents show that all the funds for the purchase of the Arsenal shares came from a firm called Epion Holdings, a company wholly owned by Mr Usmanov, who is currently said to be worth about $15.8bn (£12bn).
He then sold his share back to Usmanov to buy Everton - allegedly.

Jason Burt of the Telegraph was on Sky's SS, he seemed a bit at a loss to explain, and confused as to why, Dyche keeps getting linked with jobs, Palace, Sunderland, Villa, Leicester, WHU, Everton and counting, but never gets them. I have a simple explanation, Dyche is an employee of Burnley FC, clubs can't just invite him over and offer him a job, they have to make an official approach, but before they do this they can easily contact Dyche's agent and ask him if Sean would be receptive to them should they make an approach. And Dyche's agent advises them not to bother, he's perfectly happy where he is, and not for leaving any time soon. So they don't bother making an approach that they know is going to be rebuffed, and this is why Sean can honestly say he has never received an approach in five years at Burnley.

There you are Jason, problem solved, anything else you want to know ?

Which owner would hire someone sacked at West Ham for dull Football, Sacked as England Manager for trying to sell ways of flouting FA rules by way of earning himself a 6 figure fee and walking out on Crystal Palace ?

Some iffy figure in charge at Everton Football Club that's for sure.
