To be honest troops, see if we had lost last week i would have been raging that no one had been appointed by now, however the caretaker got the monkey aff Thompson's back v The Sons O The Rock so really it's not a problem in my opinion.

Taking time!? Yes and rightly so - comms could have come out from club but sutherland is obviously very busy. Loads o clubs do this.

I am comfortable with this approach so you all should take comfort in that too

Everton and The Rangers both parted company with their managers at about the same time as we did and no one has a Scooby who these clubs are going to appoint either. They are also in the same position as us, in that they cannot afford to get this next appointment wrong. If we needed a financial bail out last March to see out the last few months of the last financial year, you can bet your bottom dollar, we'll need the same again this March. We've got next to zero income this season coming in from away fans and any Scottish Cup financial windfall will be after the January window closes. It's really not that difficult to understand. We've spent our budget for this season, so surely the Board must be satisfied and unanimous that whoever they appoint will win us the League with the squad we have and their choice has to accept these terms and conditions, which will surely involve a break point on or around 31 May 2018. Mon Yenitit the day!!!

According to BBC Sportscotland Gossip today, we are 'back in for Tommy Wright'. I can't believe that at all frankly. And further, with an international break coming up, I would not be surprised if there's still no appointment this week as well.

    Spot-on GJ.
Sunderland too have a crucial appointment to make.
Do you think the present shenanigans are going to have football looking at itself as regards the current seemingly-broken 'manager' model? In a nutshell it's not working, things have become ridiculous.

Who knows, another good result today and further delays in appointing a new guy, may make the Club realise that the ideal successor is actually right under their noses all along. Shades of Levien's departure followed up with the Pat Fenlon nonsense. It was Houston that ended up getting it.............

Isn’t the ideal to plan for eventualities. Know if you have to go for another manager who is good and out there and be ready to act decisively and effectively

Only upside is at least Laurie Ellis seems capable enough - let’s just hope he can stake a claim for his own credentials and get us level with saints tomorrow
And you would moan if they took 2 days and hired the wrong person! Club canny win. One of the most important decisions they have to make, I'm glad they're taking their time.
