To be honest, whether you love him or loath him. I think he Dummett is hte number one but is injured hence Manquillo is the cover. Despite how well Mbemba did in that position.

Personally LB is lower on the ladder of positions we need to sort though.

I don't see why we should have to endure this garbage.
We have no reason to be thankful to Rafa or anyone for scraps.
We deserve to be entertained by right and the manager and players have a duty to provide some.

I don't want to spend every week looking at a league table and saying, " yeah we played dire and negative 90% of the time but we've scraped a few points more than most expected at this time."

I'm not going to spend any time blowing any smoke up Rafa's aris either.
He has the ability to set us up to play much better football but chooses to be pig headed with players and also seems to concentrate too much on caution.
It's effing annoying and I'm sick to death of it already.

A quality no 10 and a striker and i think our team will be totally fine this season but we need those positions signed in jan

Rafa will have to seriously alter his mindset if he brings in a quality number 10 and striker.
Either that or he'll have to sign Messi and Aguero and then carry on with his m ission of caution whilst letting those two create their own feast.

Or maybe, as a manager of vast experience, he might change the way the side plays once he has players of better attacking quality at his disposal? At the moment itīs a case of 'cut your coat according to your cloth'.

I think we have more bite to our attack than Rafa seems to, but other than that (and his sometimes horrible substitutional dispositions) I think he's doing the right thing with our team at the moment. We are not good enough to go and play attacking, 'entertaining' football in every match, not even for 20 minutes in some matches.

Seems rational to me that we need to sort out the defence, especially when we have 5mil strikers at our disposal who will - clearly - not score every game.

He's cutting our throats according to his wrath, it appears.
I have no option but to wait. It's not like I'm going to abandon Newcastle United who I've been a supporter of all of my life.
I'd absolutely love for Rafa to get this team working but I'm not buying into any lack of funds excuse.
    Pardew worked with similar funds.
