    Bilic out...Moyes in...

...Really? Does this make any sort of sense to anyone out there. Seems bonkers to me.

What's so bonkers? Bilic's gone off the boil recently, he's rather lost interest with the Hammers in free fall. He had to go.
Moyes is just the kind of manager a club like West Ham needs. I was rather surprised he didn't want to return to Goodison Park.

Stating the obvious but Moyes should never have left Everton. He was bulled up by Ferguson as his replacement but was found wanting. Maybe a return to a club with lower expectations could restore some sort of credibility to Moyes, just the same as McClaren did at Derby. Just hope things don't turn out the same for him.

Do Everton want that Moyes mediocrity though? Surely they will see themselves, rightly or wrongly, as a sleeping giant that needs awakening. Moyes will have them on the fringes of qualifying for Europe again. They want to be in there, as they are this season, but doing well, which they are not.

West Ham could well make a short return to Tier 2, that's what usually happens every decade. Moyes will provide stability and prevent that. The Hammers should stop kidding themselves.

Moyes was reasonably successful at Preston and Everton. Since then he has been nothing short of disastrous at United and Sunderland.
Bilic has done well at West Ham until this current rough patch. Given the choice I’d take Bilic every time.
