Chuck Berry and Hendrix style improvisation this evening, good way to finish off a patience testing Monday!

Either of those your favourite? BB King me, followed by Randy Rhoades. But hey, I'm just a drummer

    Top Song of the day:

Doo Wah Diddy - Manfred Mann

    Followed by

Wake Up Little Susie - The Everly Nrothers

And last but not least, with the mention of Chuck Berry

    Johnny B Goode.

    Another excellent selection...

Listening to on the way in this am:

Blizzard Of Oz - 'I Don't Know'. Possibly not the first time I've listed this epic, certainly won't be the last time I play it. Rock music at its very best, and the album it came from 'Blizzard Of Oz' was voted 9th best heavy metal album of all time. Not bad for four musicians backing a drunk.

    We all have our faults...

All of the above really, all wonderful players in their own right.

Gotta pop one on for Valentines'

Recently singing along with Mrs Faber to:

The Stylistics - You Make Me Feel Brand New

The classiest Male/Male duet ever IMTDO. A rare shared lead for tenor Airrion Love, counterpointing the vocal lead with falsetto Russell Thompkins beautifully. Airron and his bandmates still do a yearly UK tour, usually in November, and having seen them four times in the last decade I'll recommend them for a guaranteed great night out. Coincidentally a cracking male/female karakoe number, one of three Mrs F and myself dare to do.

Since Stylistics was mentioned, I've decided to listen to my favourite hits of theirs:

Can't Give Anything but my love...

And since RA mentioned Simon and Garfunkel, well then I'll next listen to:

    Mrs. Robinson

And for the both of you, I'll next listen and recommend:

    Millie Small 1964

    My Boy Lollipop
