    Joe Ledley

I have to say he has surprised me since he was signed, did not think he would be fit to play for 3 weeks or so but has got up to speed very quickly. He adds both movement and strength in the middle of the team, could possibly be the signing of the season, wonder if he will still be here after January as I think he is on a short term contract until then?

Is his contract to Jan 1st or Feb 1st? Well worth an extension unless they decide Hudds, BJ and GT are the ones for the CM role and they want a 4th with a bit more pace although I don't expect that new player to be Kieftenbeld though as Brum will want to keep him.

Early days yet to give him an extension and he’s only played in 4 games so far and scored 1 goal since he joined us and has more yet to give for the club. Don’t jump the boat just yet see how he plans out until January.

I will avoid attempting to hurdle the boat and indeed see what his or even Derby's plans are come January.

Talking of hurdles, do you think Edwin Moses could hurdle a boat in his prime?

With enough complacency i think he will be just fine.

But seriously folks, do you rate ledley, would you want him to stay or is he a stop gap until the guy from Brum (wont try to pronounce his name) is able to sign?

MoP. I'm not in the Ledley love camp he's OK no more than that Personally I hope we don't give him a contract he won't come cheap We can do better with that money plus his injury record is not good But looks like Rowett wants him
