I’ll leave it here but got to say Yak and Frog have shown how it should be done with class.

God bless and thank you to alll the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price so we can enjoy the freedoms we do today.
I'm proud of the fact my views aren't given with the union flag wrapped round me .

The only thing un classy about my post is what's in your head because it doesn't suit your views , nothing more , nothing less .

Don’t want to get into a political war on here it’s not the time.

Most people know I’ve served in the marines I’ve had the utmost pleasure in serving with real men.

Men who didn’t go home to there children.
Men who had hopes and dreams.
Men who put other people before themselves.
Men who paid the ultimate sacrifice for other people’s freedom.

I’ve lost some friends and I can still remember there names rank and number.

It’s a day to remember them and pay homage to there bravery and unselfish contributions.

True hero’s never ever to be forgotten or undervalued.

I'm always proud to be English, but on days like this I feel even prouder.

Oh wow, you’ve left yourself wide open there for attack by our resident PC trolls who will be bursting at the seams to tell you that X thousand non-English died in the two world wars. They will be at this very moment consulting wiki to see how many Muslims were involved.

What’s pissing me off about armistice day is that it’s been hijacked by “the luvvies” and commercial enterprises.

It’s turned into a “my poppy display is bigger than yours” exercise.

    It’s lost it’s dignity, it’s become another hallowe’en

About 400k has it happens grist .

Although I'm sure you'd be the first to sign up if we'd suffered invasion by the muslims and conscripted to fight a war in india against the Hindus .

    Wouldn't you ?

On that we agree, it’s not about an opportunity for a shop to have a poppy window display to attract more customers, but it’s going that way.

Good lad, I've got family in the Marines, one in the 119. I'm very proud of 'em.
