O/T May On The Brink ????

40 tory MP's ready to sign a letter of no confidence in the PM , just 8 short of the required number to trigger a Leadership ballot .

Leaving party politics to one side this is a disastrous situation the country is facing right now with the Brexit negotiations hanging by a thread .

The infighting in the Tory Party is taking the whole country down with it and the likes of Johnson and Gove seem not to give a shyte about the impact they are having on the rest of us .

The Tories are in office but they don't govern , May is PM but doesn't lead , it's a catastrophe .

Another GE is likely to deliver another hung parliament .

Surely we've come to the point where a cross party alliance is needed to provide stability and steer the country through the brexit process .

Look I take the point that it's not that easy for parties to come together but the people of this country need leadership and direction and we have none , none what so ever when the country is about to define it's future within the world .

You couldn't make the present situation up could you .

Infighting in any party or organisation is never going to have a good outcome either for the party or the country

I seriously think it's time to give Corbyn a run.

It's the only way the Muppets will realise that the set up we have now is the best of a set of unpleasant alternatives.

At one time I was keen for Corbyn and Labour to keep away from Brexit and it's potentially poisonous tentacles .

My thoughts were why get tarnished with something Labour didn't create and so let the tories fall on their own sword , I'm not convinced Labour would do any better in anycase , whatever happens either way a large number of people aren't going to be happy because the referendum result was so close ..

I believe the times coming for cross party involvement with regard to brexit , the reason is pretty straight forward , whatever deal the tories get and it isn't likely to be good then it will be simply voted down in parliament , so back we go and start again and so forth , it's unworkable with the time constraints .

At least with a cross party alliance there is more opportunity to deliver a deal that parliament will accept with the credibility of the main parties having participated .

Seems to me that the tory brexit fanatics have an agenda to leave the EU without a deal , create a tax haven , tear up employment legislation , who knows .

Whatever it is it won't be for the benefit of the country as a whole but for the elite and their minions just below them in the food chain .

That's my worry for what its worth and the PM is so weak she simply has to fall in line with their demands .

Here we go again posting political ****e on a football message board.

I've just checked on Barnsley mad and you've not tried to start the debate on there, so I don't see why you need to come on here posting it.

Surely Momentum and the Labour party have forums where you can debate such as this to death with people of a like mind i.e. politics on a political forum, football on a football forum.

It happens plenty on threads not marked as O/T or threads marked as O/T but which have nothing whatsoever to do with politics.

We get it that you, Animallittle and others on here see Corbyn as the 2nd coming and believe we will be living in a Socialist utopia should he be elected, I'm just getting sick of virtually every thread on here being steered down the route of becoming about politics.

As I said if I wanted to read about politics I'd go and post my views and read the views of others on a politics forum, try and have a guess what I come on to a football forum, especially a Rotherham United one to read about?

Refer to my previous post, it's not difficult.
